After the humanitarian tragedy in Arakan, we continue to provide assistance to 800,000 victims, mostly women, children and the elderly, who settled in tents on the Bangladesh border.
With the onset of the winter months, our team went to the region to distribute food parcels to 3,000 families living in even more difficult conditions in makeshift tents. Our team also opened 15 sets of water wells, bathrooms, toilets and fountains that will be used by tens of thousands of people living in the camps and unable to access clean drinking water.
